[Sonic isn't sure what do while he waits, so he's just wearing his snow suit and posing in front of a full length mirror.]

Eh...? Oh! right! [he may have forgotten why he was here] Wait, when you ski, it's one on each foot, right? That'd be confusing. Ooh you know what else we should do? We should skydive. I've been practicing!

[soundsurfing]

Yup! We gonna have to do it kinda weird cause well... my feet wont fit into ski boots an' yer feet kinda ARE ski boots. [He's pondering Sonics feet and his own.] But we'll figure that shit out.

[He tosses the skis into the back of the fire truck with a clatter, then perks hard.]

Oh hell yeah dude, we can def go skidivin' too! Whatchya wanna do first?

I was thinkin' I'd just strap them to my feet somehow! ... Or, you know, just ski on my feet! Haha!

[he pauses, tapping his chin]

Hmmm... I dunno. We should probably do the skydiving first, cause my reflexes aren't as good when I'm tired! But... I do need to warm up before I can fly that high.

Oh yeah no worries 'bout that, lookit this ski.

[He picks one up to show Sonic the contraption on it.]

Normally you'd fit a ski boot here an press down an' the ski would lock onto it. I think yer feet will lock on jus' fit, they about the right size.

[He thinks with Sonic on the issue at hand.]

Hmmm... Is there any SMALL hills 'round you think we can go down a few times fer warm up?

[He grins a little, as he gets another idea.]

Or, yo, how good at you at parkourin'?

[Sonic takes the ski and looks at it. Then he sits down and puts his weird long foot through it and straps it in, then folds his foot over] Oh hey! Look, it'll work!

[his ears perk at "parkour"] Can I parkour, he asks! Watch this! [he takes off the ski, then runs toward the abandoned checkout counter. He hops over it easily, and runs at the wall behind it -- and runs a few steps up it. Until gravity takes over! But he kicks off the wall and does a flip (DO A FLIP!!!) and lands perfectly]

And the crowd goes wild!!! [his speaker plays the sound of applause and cheering]

[Okay that gets a laugh out of Beat and he joins in with the speakers cheering, putting his fingers to his lips to blow a sharp whistle.]

Nice, yo! What say you an' I run 'round town a bit to warm up? Get the motors runnin' an' all. Nothin' too much to tire us out [they're monsters, of course, so they can go for quite some time before losing stamina] but enough that we can go 'round doin' other shit widdout worryin'. Then we can do some skydivin' or skiin' or whatever the fuck we wanna.

[he bows, blowing kisses to the invisible crowd]

Yes!! That sounds great! We can get warmed up and do the skydiving over the city, and then maaaybe head to the mountains? See how we feel? [Sonic, at least, will be fine. As a simulacrum, he's basically the energizer bunny. Beat will tire long before he does]

Hell yeah, yo! Sounds great to me! You wanna drive the truck out?

[Beat's already moving to the store gate to unlock and lift it up. There's a mannequin nearby, head twisted 180 in his direction but it's not bothering him. And it won't, because he's close friends with Elias.]

"Safety first." Oh there ain't gonna be nothin' safe 'bout we 'bout to do! Le's go, Blue!

[he hops into the truck's driver seat and starts the engine]

Roads?! We don't NEED roads where WE'RE going! ... Except we kinda do.
