Sonic looks away for a moment, eyes going to static then back to normal.
Then he makes some sort of weird, awful grinding sound, punctuated by static and garbled noise. It's a terrible noise.
But it becomes apparent that he's
laughing
. Cold and unfeeling.
What an awful noise.
